Confirmation of the booking will be on receipt of the completed booking form and the appropriate deposit cleared through our bank.£100 deposit per angler is required to secure your booking plus £100 for the Gite if hired. When the booking is confirmed your deposit becomes non-refundable and is accepted as part payment towards the total cost of the holiday.
When hiring the Gite, upon arrival a €150 refundable deposit (via cash) will be required against any damages in the Gite.
The Gite must be left clean after your visit (in the condition it was given to you in), a €50 surcharge will be levied if the Gite requires cleaning after your visit.
The Gite has its own electricity meter and the electric consumed during the period of your stay will be charged for at the rate of 0.20 Euros (20 Centimes) per unit (Kilo watt).
The balance of the payment must be paid no later than 8 weeks prior to your arrival date.
The price of your holiday is guaranteed free of price increases and surcharges once your booking has been confirmed
If the booking is made closer than 8 weeks of the arrival date then payment must be made in full.
The person confirming the booking must confirm that he/she has the authority of all other persons included in the holiday to make the booking, or changes to the booking on their behalf and that he/she has read and accepted these booking terms and conditions.
If payment of the balance is not received by us by the due date, we reserve the right to cancel your booking and forfeit any deposit made.
We reserve the right to pass on any charges arising from re-presenting cheques.
A confirmation email will be sent to you on receipt of the transaction, detailing your booking information and any tackle/bait/food requirements you have requested.
Any items purchased on site post your arrival must be paid for in Euros.
Cancellation 8 weeks or more before travel date, deposit only forfeited.
Cancellation 4-8 weeks before travel date, 50% of holiday cost forfeited.
Cancellation less than 4 weeks before travel date, full cost of holiday forfeited.
Where funds have been transferred from our UK Sterling account to our French Euro account (at the end of each month), any refunds that have to be made will incur bank charges.
You will be given the refund where applicable minus the bank charges incurred.
We will not be liable for loss or delay occasioned by any of the following:
Strikes, Riots, Political Unrest, Hostilities, War or Threat of War, Terrorist Activity, Industrial Disputes, Fire, Flood, Technical/Weather problems to transport, Closure of Ports, Weather Conditions or any other event(s) beyond our control.
All passport, Visa and Health Certificate requirements are your responsibility and we accept no responsibility for any delay or expense incurred through any irregularity in your documents. All British holidaymakers should ensure that they hold a Full Ten Year British passport with a validity of at least 3 months beyond the travel date. Non British subjects should consult their Embassy for information on possible Visa requirements.
Clients are advised to cover themselves with the appropriate travel insurance for the period of the holiday. Etang de Planchon holds a public liability insurance certificate.
An EHIC Card (European Health Insurance) is also recommended in case of any emergency treatments.
Arrival time is after 14:00 and departure time before 10.00am, unless agreed otherwise with the owner.
Swims are allocated by Etang de Planchon, a double swim can be reserved in advance.
The person signing the booking form confirms that he/she has the authority of all other persons included in the holiday to make the booking, or changes to the booking on their behalf and that he/she has read and accepted these booking terms and conditions.
We will not be held responsible for any personal injuries, illness or losses.
Pets are not permitted unless agreed with the owner prior to your booking / arrival.
Any personal belongings left behind which have to be returned to you by post will be subject to a charge.
Your enjoyment is important to us and any shortcomings must be notified to owner immediately so that they can be rectified for you. We cannot accept responsibility for any shortcomings not notified to us. We cannot consider any claims of shortcomings after you have left Etang de Planchon.
For those of you on a Fishing Holiday, please ensure you have read the rules on the website, these rules must be adhered to at all times during your stay.
Any notices regarding the Gite must be adhered to.
The anglers or guests must not, on their own or permit persons under their control, to do anything which may in the opinion of the management be, or become a nuisance, or be detrimental to the other anglers. Any such actions will be considered to be a breach of contract between Etang de Planchon and the angler or guest. In particular, vandalism, abusive or threatening behaviour will not be tolerated. In the event of such a breach, the guest and their party will be asked to leave the lake immediately and no refund will be made.
Due to French licensing Law, only beer, wine, cider, champagne or Crème de cassis can be served, sold or consumed anywhere on the property.
No alcohol will be served to, nor can it be consumed onsite by anyone under the age of 18 Years.
Drugs and drunkenness will not tolerated (one warning will be given).
Children must remain the responsibility of their guardian.
The owner reserves the right to ask any anglers or parties to vacate the property upon infringement of any rule. No refunds shall be given.
The lakes, swims and any hired equipment, must be kept and left in a reasonable condition. The anglers or guests will be responsible for any loss or breakages which occur during the hire period as a result of undue care or negligence. We reserve the right to charge your payment method with the cost of any damages.
